Your mission
We are seeking a skilled Freight Forwarding Operations Clerk to oversee and manage daily transportation operations for freight shipments, primarily focused on Ocean Freight, ensuring seamless execution and high levels of customer satisfaction. This is a temporary position based in Barcelona, Spain, running from September 2024 to the end of December 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day operations for freight shipments, especially Ocean Freight.
- Book shipments, coordinate pickups, and keep customers informed about their orders.
- Ensure all tasks follow company policies and local regulations.
- Manage job costing, billing, and ensure accuracy in profits.
- Complete month-end shipping and billing processes on time.
- Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure they meet agreed standards.
