Your mission

GLOVIS is a global Supply Chain Management Provider, which is member of Hyundai Motors Group. Since our foundation 20 years ago, we have succeeded to move from being the leader in automotive distribution to an integrated global transport & logistics company.

To do the next evolution step in the Air Freight Department, GLOVIS is looking for the experienced, committed and motivated manager for its forwarding and logistics team. The ideal candidate must have experience in technical as well as sales development of Air Freight services and is looking to bring his experience to the regional level.

You will be member of the regional European Headquarter team and have to drive the strategic development within the area of Air Freight. The responsibility is a hybrid of sales, product development, and technical support/supervision.

As such, you also have to drive account development for regional strategic accounts and vertical industries in the assigned topic area and support the adoption of best practices in countries across the region Europe.

Your profile
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in the forwarding and logistics industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of Air Freight Operations: Oversee the complete air freight process.
  • Leadership: Lead and inspire a team to achieve operational excellence, ensuring high performance and smooth workflow across all areas of responsibility.
  • Industry & Market Understanding: Apply your deep knowledge of the air freight industry to drive business success and stay ahead of market trends.
  • P&L Control: Manage profit and loss, ensuring financial performance aligns with business goals.
  • Sales Activities: Support and execute sales strategies, leveraging your background in sales to drive growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Presentation: Prepare comprehensive reports and present key insights to senior management, demonstrating strong communication and presentation skills.
