Ter ondersteuning van onze activiteiten zoeken wij een Operations Support Specialist (m/v/d) voor ons Finished Vehicle Logistics Planning & Markets-team in Rotterdam, Botlek, voor onbepaalde tijd. We zoeken een flexibele en betrouwbare collega die onze Teamleider ondersteunt bij logistieke planning en marktoperaties. Dit is een veelzijdige en praktische functie, gericht op het soepel laten verlopen van processen — zowel achter de schermen als op de werkvloer.

Jouw profiel

Operations

Ondersteunen bij de implementatie van afgesproken procedures, opvolgen van de voortgang en bespreken van benodigde maatregelen voor schade- en verliespreventie met klanten en leveranciers
Ondersteunen van projectplannen voor nieuwe logistieke concepten conform klantwensen
Ondersteuning bij het beheer van operationele contracten
Processen ontwikkelen en verbeteren en nieuwe zakelijke kansen identificeren

Business Relations

Versterken en opbouwen van solide klant- en leveranciersrelaties
Fungeren als schakel naar de Teamleider, inclusief communicatie met de klant en GEU HQ operations

Factuurcontrole

Controleren van facturen, vergelijken met leveringsdocumenten en leveranciersafspraken voor goedkeuring

Office Support

Ondersteunen van algemene kantooractiviteiten om de efficiëntie te waarborgen, inclusief het afhandelen van communicatie en het organiseren van planning

Over jou

HBO of een gelijkwaardig diploma, bij voorkeur in een relevante richting
Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring in supply chain operations of engineering is verplicht
Ervaring met klantrelatiebeheer is een pré
Taalvaardigheid: vloeiend Nederlands is verplicht, daarnaast vloeiend Engels
Geldig rijbewijs, eigen vervoer en bereidheid tot reizen

To support our endeavors, we are looking for an Operations Support Specialist (m/f/d) to join our Finished Vehicle Logistics Planning & Markets team for an unlimited period in Rotterdam, Botlek Port. We are searching for a flexible and reliable person to support our Team Leader in logistics planning and market operations. This is a varied, hands-on role focused on keeping things running smoothly — both behind the scenes and out on the ground.

Your profile

Operations

Supporting the implementation of agreed procedures, following up on progress, and discussing corrective actions for damage and loss prevention with customers and suppliers
Supporting project plans for new logistics concepts in line with customer requests
Support with operational contracts
Developing and improving processes, while identifying new business opportunities
Daily operations
Following up / Monitoring wholesales target

Business Relations

Strengthening and building solid customer and supplier relationships
Acting as liaison to the Team Leader, including communication with the customer and GEU HQ operations

Invoice Checking

Reviewing invoices, cross-checking against delivery records and supplier agreements to ensure accuracy before approval

Office Support

Supporting general office functions to keep things running efficiently, including handling communications and organising schedules

About You

HBO / Hoger Beroepsonderwijs or equivalent higher vocational education in a relevant field
3+ years’ experience in supply chain operation or engineering mandatory
Experience in customer relationship management an advantage
Language requirements: fluent in Dutch and English
Valid driver’s license, vehicle, and willingness to travel
