Clerk Import Overseas (m/f/d)

Your mission

  • Independent organization and handling of sea freight import shipments from overseas

  • Communication and correspondence with international partners, shipping companies, and agents

  • Preparation, review, and processing of transport and customs documents

  • Scheduling, shipment tracking, and ensuring timely processes

  • Support and consultation of customers within the import business

  • Billing and cost control of transports

  • Close cooperation with internal departments as well as external service providers

Your profile

  • Completed training as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk or a comparable qualification

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in overseas imports – mandatory

  • Very good knowledge of customs and foreign trade regulations

  • Experience with the transport management system CargoWise is an advantage

  • Good command of English, both spoken and written; additional foreign languages are an advantage

  • Confident handling of MS Office and common forwarding/transport management systems

  • Organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and service orientation

  • Team player with a structured and independent way of working
