Your mission
The Business Development Specialist supports the Head of Sales and the Head of the Planning & Markets Division in Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) across all business development and sales activities. The role focuses on Chinese manufacturers, distributors, trading companies, and other automotive players primarily active in the European market. The position involves close customer interaction, regular on-the-road engagement, and frequent travel to support customer meetings, market development, and business growth initiatives across Europe.

- Regular and continuous contact with Chinese customers and prospects in close coordination with the Head of Sales
- Manage Chinese customer accounts and identification of new potential customers in cooperation with the Sales organization
- Handle customer service activities for existing customers, including back-office-related tasks
- Contribute to the development of offers for new products and services for prospective and existing customers
- Analyse European markets for new Chinese brands establishing operations in Europe
- Evaluate market developments, including new entrants and trends in service requirements
- Participate in tenders for third-party customers
- Calculate and prepare offers for Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) services
- Active participation in meetings with and for the Sales teams
- Significant involvement in the preparation of meetings, presentations, and related materials
- Accompany the Head of Sales in in-person and virtual meetings with prospects and customers
