Your mission

Your mission
As Dispatcher – National & International Transports, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing national and international road freight operations across the EU while ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and customer-oriented transport solutions. You will act as the main point of contact for customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth transport execution, high service quality, and compliance with operational and legal requirements. In addition, you will support pricing and tender activities by preparing competitive transport quotations and contributing to continuous process improvements and overall operational performance.
 Your key responsibilities include:
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage national and international road freight operations across Barcelona and the EU
  • Organize vehicle scheduling, driver assignments, and route planning to ensure efficient operations and on-time deliveries
  • Monitor and manage daily dispatch activities in accordance with customer requirements and operational priorities
  • Track transport orders in real time and ensure smooth execution throughout the entire transportation process
  • Proactively resolve operational issues such as delays, route adjustments, or unexpected disruptions
  • Maintain clear and continuous communication with customers, drivers, subcontractors, and logistics partners
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all transport-related matters and ensure a high level of customer service
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, subcontractors, and external service providers
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, safety, and internal company regulations, including driving/rest time requirements and load securing standards
  • Prepare, review, and maintain transport documentation, operational records, and performance reports
  • Support administrative and operational tasks, including rate management and subcontractor coordination
  • Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities for process optimization and cost efficiency
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on service quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction

Your profile

Your profile
  • Successfully completed vocational training in freight forwarding, logistics, transportation management, or a comparable field
  • Previous experience in dispatching, preferably within international long-distance transportation
  • Strong organizational and communication skills combined with a customer- and service-oriented mindset
  • Confident handling of transport management systems (TMS) as well as MS Office applications
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while making quick and well-founded decisions
  • Excellent English language skills; additional languages are considered an advantage
  • High sense of responsibility, reliability, and a structured, analytical way of working
  • Solution-oriented and proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Team player with assertiveness, flexibility, and a strong customer focus
