Your mission

Reporting to the Director of the France Branch, the Administrative Operations Specialist supports the management of the French branch's administrative activities. This versatile role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including finance, tax administration, accounting, payroll, and general administrative operations. You will serve as the primary point of contact between Glovis Europe Headquarters in Germany and the local team in France, ensuring effective communication and coordination between both entities.

Depending on your qualifications, professional experience, and overall background, this position may be offered at either the Junior Specialist or Specialist level, with responsibilities aligned to your experience and opportunities for professional growth within the company.

Your Responsibilities 
Finance, Accounting & Tax Administration
  • Manage daily financial administration, including invoicing processes, invoice verification, payment preparation, and financial documentation.
  • Support accounting activities, including monthly and annual closings, CAPEX monitoring, and coordination with the external accounting firm.
  • Assist with tax-related activities, including VAT and corporate tax declarations.
  • Maintain and improve accounting processes and systems where required.
Payroll & HR Operations
  • Coordinate monthly payroll processes, including data preparation, payroll provider communication, payslip checks, and internal system updates.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant management of employee-related salary costs.
  • Support HR operational activities from time to time, including recruitment, onboarding, time tracking, and employee administration.
Administrative & Cross-functional Support
  • Act as a key contact between Glovis Europe Headquarters in Germany and the French team.
  • Coordinate with external partners, including tax advisors, auditors, and payroll providers.
  • Provide general administrative support across finance, HR, and operational activities.

Your profile

  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Korean is considered an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting or finance administration.
  • Experience or knowledge of the FVL (Finished Vehicle Logistics) or logistics industry is preferred.
