Your mission

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Team Leader – Finance (m/f/d) to oversee our core financial operations in Eschborn. In this high-impact role, you will lead the Finance team, drive operational excellence across Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, and serve as a key partner to senior management by ensuring precise financial reporting, cash flow optimization, and strong banking relations.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Strategic Leadership & Team Development 
  • Set clear vision and goals for the Finance team in alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Mentor, train, and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee departmental budgets, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Drive change management and continuous process optimization.
 
Accounts Receivable Management 
  • Oversee daily incoming payment processing, ledger balancing, and account reconciliations.
  • Manage credit exposure, long-term receivables, and structured collection activities.
  • Supervise SAP customer master data governance and approval workflows.
Accounts Payable Operations 
  • Direct daily outgoing payment planning in line with company liquidity.
  • Guarantee accurate, timely processing of supplier invoices and disbursements.
  • Ensure strict SAP vendor registration procedures and compliance standards.
 Financial & Regulatory Reporting 
  • Prepare and present daily fund reports directly to the CFO.
  • Deliver monthly HQ financial reporting (balances, credit limits, cash flow).
  • Oversee mandatory regulatory filings, including Z4 reports to the Deutsche Bundesbank.
Cash & Liquidity Support 
  • Support liquidity planning, FX monitoring, and bank connectivity platforms (e.g., SWIFT SCORE).
Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) Management
  •  ICFR control framework oversight 
  • Finance process documentation and evidence management

Your profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the financial sector, with proven experience in a leadership or managerial role.
Technical Skills:
  • Solid hands-on experience with SAP (payment entries, approvals, master data) and online banking tools/SWIFT systems.
  • Deep understanding of AR/AP, cash/liquidity management, and global money markets.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements in Germany (e.g., Z4 reporting).
Core Competencies:
  • Exceptional analytical thinking, problem-solving, and planning & organizing skills.
  • Strong market understanding and a business-focused approach to decision-making.
Languages: Excellent communication skills in English (company language); German or other additional foreign language skills are a strong plus.
