Ocean Import-Export Operation Junior Specialist

Your mission
We are looking for a motivated Ocean Import-Export Operation Junior Specialist to join our team in Budapest. In this role, you will:

Operations:
  • Take an active role in daily operations and manage the complete transport process.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and third-party logistics providers (trucking companies, ocean carriers, customs agents, rail providers) to ensure all parties have relevant information.
  • Liaise with internal departments, such as Accounting and Finance, as well as with other company branches.
ERP System Update and Maintenance:
  • Perform accurate and timely data entries on a daily basis.
  • Conduct regular status checks and clean up data.
  • Upload Bills of Lading (BL) based on customer requests.
Accounting:
  • Support monthly closing processes and client billing.
  • Calculate the correct selling amount.
  • Create and provide necessary documents and invoices.
Reporting:
  • Prepare regular internal and external reports related to deliveries for customers.
  • Generate internal reports for monthly closing activities.
  • Provide performance reporting.
Your profile

  • 2-3 years’ work experience in freight forwarding industry.
  • Knowledge Microsoft Office Applications, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Hungarian. Korean language is a plus.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • A good team player.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem solving capabilities.
  • Immediate available is highly preferred.
