Your mission

We are committed to excellence in the automotive logistics industry and pride ourselves on building strong customer relationships and providing exceptional service. To support our endeavors, we are looking for a experienced Daily Operations Specialist (m/f/d) to join our Forwarding Team in Vienna.

Ocean Shipments:

Plan and organize new and upcoming shipments efficiently
Communicate with customers and suppliers to coordinate logistics to ensure an optimal flow
Manage vessel and inland transportation schedules to ensure timely delivery

Spot Air Shipments:

Plan and organize new shipments
Communicate with customers to confirm shipment requirements and provide updates
Gather and maintain all documentation and contracts related to each shipment

Invoicing:

Check incoming buying invoices for accuracy
Issue buying invoices in accordance with rate tables provided by the team leader

Sales:

Develop new customers and identify potential business opportunities
Expand business with existing customers
Conduct market research to support sales strategy and identify trends

Your profile

Bachelor's degree or completed apprenticeship in a relevant field
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Over 3 years of experience in the logistics field
Experience in sales within the logistics or forwarding sector
Strong skills in prompt decision-making, planning, organizing, and negotiation
In-depth knowledge of import and export procedures
